Combining safety, Scandinavian design, human-centric technology and everyday practicality, the updated XC60 has been designed to make everyday life simpler, more enjoyable and more rewarding.
Under the umbrella of ‘Electric for everyday, hybrid for getaways’, the XC60 long-range plug-in hybrid campaign celebrates the freedom that comes from having extended electric range and hybrid capability in one car. It shows how the XC60 supports everyday journeys on electric power, while giving people the confidence to go further when life calls for something more. At the heart of the campaign is the idea that distance can bring you closer. The XC60 doesn’t just make longer journeys possible – it creates the time, space and freedom for people to reconnect. Whether it’s a familiar trip close to home or a getaway that takes you further, the journey becomes an opportunity for shared moments and meaningful connection.

The campaign includes a series of KSP films designed to turn product features into relatable, everyday benefits.
Covering PHEV range, interior design, interior comfort, exterior design and Google Gemini, each film combines clear product storytelling with small, human moments. Rather than presenting features in isolation, the films show how they fit naturally into everyday life. Helping customers understand not only what the XC60 offers, but what it feels like to live with.
Together, the films create a consistent consideration layer that balances product education with warmth, personality and real-life relevance.

The film is titled ‘Distance brings you closer’, and it explores how the Volvo XC60 long-range plug-in hybrid makes every journey more meaningful. Through the story of a father and son, the film uses physical distance to close an emotional one. Asthe XC60 takes them further on electric power, moments of silence turn into shared looks, laughter and connection. By the end, the journey hasn’t just shown how far the car can go – it has shown what that distance can make possible.
